Transmitter Programming

On first design vehicles, this procedure allows programming of FOB No. 1, FOB No. 2 or all FOBs. See FIRST DESIGN  under DESCRIPTION. On second design vehicles, this procedure allows programming of FOB No. 1, FOB No. 2, FOB No. 3, FOB No. 4 or all FOBs. See SECOND DESIGN  under DESCRIPTION.

On all models, install scan tool. Display Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) main menu. Select special functions menu. Follow directions on screen display. During programming procedure, depress TRUNK button first, then after holding trunk button for one second, press LOCK button. Hold both buttons until locks cycle. Repeat test if first attempt is unsuccessful. Repeat procedure for each transmitter to be programmed.
