DTC B3793: Memory Seat Module Over Current: Description

Current drawn from the battery supply to Memory Seat Module (MSM) is monitored by the MSM. When excessive current is detected, MSM disables seat motors to protect internal MSM circuitry.

MSM tests for excessive current only when seat motors are active. DTC B3793 will set when measured battery current exceeds 81 amps for 100 milliseconds. All MSM seat motors will be disabled and memory recalls in progress are aborted.

DTC B3793 will automatically clear when MSM does not detect excessive current.
