Scan Tool Data Definitions

8 Digit GM Part Number:  The scan displays the part number of the module.

Battery Voltage:  The scan tool displays 0-16 Volts. The voltage measured between the module's battery positive voltage circuit and ground circuit.

Calibration ID:  The scan tool displays a 4 digit number. This number designates the calibration or program revision level used in the PROM.

Julian Date of Build:  The scan tool displays a 3 digit number. This number is the day of the year that the module was built.

Lumbar Switches - Inputs:  The scan tool displays Idle. When the lumbar switch is activated, the scan tool will display the switch input to the memory seat module as selected; Up, Down, Inflate Forward, or Deflate Rearward.

Lumbar Outputs:  The scan tool displays Idle. When the lumbar switch is activated or during a memory recall, the scan tool will display the output of the memory seat module as selected; Up, Down, Inflate Forward, or Deflate Rearward.

Memory Recall Switches:  The scan tool displays Idle. When a memory function switch is activated, the scan tool will momentarily display the memory function selected; Memory 1, Memory 2, Set, or Exit.

PROM ID:  The scan tool displays a 4 digit number. This is the identification number of the PROM that is incorporated in the module.

Seat Switches - Inputs:  The scan tool displays Idle. When a seat switch is activated, the scan tool will display the switch input to the memory seat module as selected; Seat Rearward, Seat Forward, Recline Rearward, Recline Forward, Ft. Vertical Down, Ft. Vert Vertical Up, Rear Vertical Down, or Rear Vertical Up.

Seat Outputs:  The scan tool displays Idle. When a seat switch is activated or during a memory recall, the scan tool will display the output of the memory seat module as selected; Seat Rearward, Seat Forward, Recline Rearward, Recline Forward, Ft. Vertical Down, Ft. Vert Vertical Up, Rear Vertical Down, or Rear Vertical Up.

Year Module Built:  The scan tool displays a 4 digit number. The number represents the year the module was built.

5 Volts Reference:  The scan tool displays 0-5.0 volts. This is the 5 volt reference output of the module.
