Symptom Tests: Notes
NOTE:
If area of fault cannot be located by performing following tests, problem may be intermittent. Check for poor connections, rubbed through wire insulation or broken wire inside its insulation. Inspect harness connectors for backed out terminals, improper mating, broken locks, improperly formed or damaged terminals, poor terminal-to-wire connections, and damaged harnesses. If connections and harnesses are okay, observe scan tool while wiggling related connectors and wire harnesses. A change in display will indicate location of fault.
