Installation Procedure

Important:  During installation make sure the child restraint tether anchors center (1), outboard (2) are installed with the anti-rotation tabs firmly seated in the anti-rotation holes on the cross car beam. The anti-rotation tabs face forward on both the center and outboard anchors.

1. Install the child restraint tether anchors (1, 2) to the cross car beam.
   NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the child restraint tether anchor fasteners.

   Tighten 

   Tighten the child restraint tether anchor fasteners to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

3. Install the rear shelf panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF in Interior Trim.
