Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the starter/generator control module (SGCM) cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System - Starter/Generator Control Module .
  2. Remove the SGCM radiator outlet hose (1) from the SGCM radiator (2). Refer to Coolant Pipe Quick Connect Fitting - Starter/Generator Control Module .

  4. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor (2) from the SGCM radiator bracket (3).

  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the SGCM cooling fan.
  7. Remove the bolts (1) from the SGCM radiator (5).
  8. Remove the SGCM radiator (5) from the radiator core support (4).

  10. Remove the bolts (4) from the SGCM cooling fan (3).
  11. Remove the SGCM cooling fan (3) from the SGCM radiator (2).
