Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure







1. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the engine oil pressure switch (1).
2. Remove the engine oil pressure switch (1) from the oil pump.

Installation Procedure







Notice: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the engine oil pressure switch (1) to the oil pump.
Tighten the engine oil pressure switch to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).

2. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the engine oil pressure switch (1).
3. Inspect for oil leaks after engine start up.
4. Adjust the engine oil level to the full mark.
