Fuel Systems: Notes
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Cadillac CTS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
WARNING:
Always release fuel system pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. DO NOT allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components. Gasoline or gasoline vapors are highly flammable. A fire could occur if an ignition source is present. Never drain or store gasoline or diesel fuel in an open container, due to the possibility of fire or explosion. Have a dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher nearby.
