Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Cadillac CTS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the electrical connectors.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the radio assembly to the I/P retainer.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the HVAC programmer/ashtray assembly. Refer to HVAC CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT in HVAC Systems - Automatic.
  4. Remove the center I/P air vents. Refer to HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING in HVAC.
