Installation Procedure

Position the center bottom of the rearview mirror (1) against the windshield at the top of the support button.
Slide the base of the rearview mirror (1) onto the button.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE Cautions and Notices.
Tighten the screw (3).
Tighten

Tighten the screw (3) to 1.8 N.m (16 lb in) in order to secure the mirror base to the button.
Install the base trim cover.
Connect the electrical connector (2).
Install the wire cover.
Reposition the mirror assembly.
Calibrate the mirror compass, if equipped with DD7. Refer to COMPASS CALIBRATION AND VARIANCE PROCEDURE .
