Removal Procedure

  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT SYSTEM  in Seats.
  3. Remove the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor mounting nuts.
  4. Disconnect the lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (2).
  5. Remove the lateral accelerometer sensor (1) from the mounting studs.
