Front Toe Adjustment

  1. Loosen the jam nut (2) on the tie rod.
  2. NOTE: Care must be taken so that the boots are not twisted when rotating the inner tie rod, or damage to the boots may result.
  3. Rotate the inner tie rod to the required toe specification setting.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Tighten the jam nut on the tie rods.

    Tighten:  Tighten the jam nut to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

  6. Recheck the toe settings after tightening the jam nut.
  7. Readjust the toe setting if necessary.
