Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable (2) from the battery (3). Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
  2. Disconnect the battery cable clips.
  3. Remove the negative battery cable ground nut (4).
  4. Remove the negative battery cable ground lead (1).

  6. Remove the battery cable bolt (2) securing the negative battery cable and engine harness ground pack (3) to the right rear cylinder head.

  8. Remove the negative battery cable.
