Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the multifunction switch electrical connectors.
  2. Install the multifunction switch to the steering column.
    3. Fig 1: View Of Multifunction Switch & Screws

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the retaining screws to the multifunction switch.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 7 N.m (62 lb. in.).

  4. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement (Power Tilt)  or Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement (Manual Tilt) .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
