Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the left and right upper corner screws that retain the windshield weatherstrip to the windshield frame.
Tighten: Tighten screw to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

Install the windshield weatherstrip (1) to the upper windshield frame retainer.
Install the windshield weatherstrip screws along the inside edge of the windshield frame.

Tighten: Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
Install the windshield upper garnish molding (3). Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
Install the left and right window filler panel applique. Refer to Side Window Filler Panel Replacement .
Close the folding top.
Inspect the folding top for proper sealing to the windshield weatherstrip and the frame.
Close the driver and passenger doors.
