Circuit/System Verification

  1. If DTCs P0641 or P0651 are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle for further diagnosis.
  2. With the ignition ON and the engine OFF, observe that the MAP sensor parameter is correct for your altitude. Refer to Altitude vs Barometric Pressure .
    • If the MAP sensor parameter is not correct, refer to DTC P0106 .
  3. With the ignition ON and the engine OFF, observe that the AIR Pressure Sensor parameter is nearly identical to the MAP sensor parameter.
  4. With the engine running, enable the AIR pump relay with a scan tool and observe that the AIR Pressure Sensor parameter equals approximately 10-15 kPa above BARO.
  5. With the engine running, enable the AIR System with a scan tool and observe that the AIR Pressure Sensor parameter equals approximately 8-10 kPa above BARO.
