Circuit/System Verification

  1. If any Secondary Air Injection System Pressure Sensor Circuit DTCs are set then perform those diagnostics first.
  2. With the ignition ON and engine OFF, enable and disable the AIR solenoid relay and observe that the solenoid valve operates.
  3. Inspect the AIR hoses/pipes between the pump and the shut-off valve for leaks.
  4. With the engine running, enable the AIR pump relay and observe that the AIR Pressure Sensor parameter increases to approximately 10-15 kPa above BARO.
