Removal Procedure

Turn OFF the ignition.
To access the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer move the passenger seat rearward.
Carefully lift the carpet by the seam.

Remove the 2 yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer mounting nuts (2).

Disconnect the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer electrical connector (2) from the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer.
Remove the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer (1).
