Installation Procedure
- Install the level sensor wires to the internal connector in the proper location. Refer to Delphi Connectors (Micro .64) , Delphi Connectors (Micro-Pack 100W) , Delphi Connectors (Pull To Seat) , Delphi Connectors (Push To Seat) , Delphi Connectors (Weather Pack) or Delphi Connectors (12-Way) .
- Install the new level sensor (1) into the module by sliding it down until the lock tab clicks.
- Ensure that the wires are in the slot below the sensor and the sensor is installed properly.
- Install a NEW fuel pump module O-ring (3) to the fuel tank opening.
- Install the left fuel tank module (2) to the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Module Replacement - Left Side .
- Using a digital multi-meter, verify the full and empty readings resistance reading of the fuel pump module. Turn the fuel tank upside down to achieve the full tank reading.
Resistance:
- Empty tank reading 40 Ω resistance
- Full tank reading 250 Ω resistance
- Install the left fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement - Left Side .
