Electronic Suspension Control Module (ESCM) Replacement/Reprogramming

If the electronic suspension control module (ESCM) is replaced, the following procedures must be performed:

  1. ESCM programming-Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) .
  2. Place the vehicle on a flat level surface. Ensure that the suspension is in the normal resting position. With a scan tool, perform the ALC Trimset procedure by following the screen prompts. Refer to Suspension Position Calibration (Without Z95) or Suspension Position Calibration (With Z95) .
  3. Raise the vehicle off the ground enough to allow the suspension to fully extend. With a scan tool, perform the suspension Bumpstop setup procedure by following the screen prompts.
