Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air cleaner element and close the air cleaner cover.
  2. Ensure the air cleaner assembly cover tabs are properly aligned to the air cleaner housing.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the air cleaner cover screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the air cleaner cover screws to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  4. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
