Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Cadillac STS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Install the APP sensor to the front of dash.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the APP sensor mounting nuts and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  3. Connect the APP sensor electrical connector.
  4. Operate the accelerator pedal and observe the APP angles using a scan tool. The accelerator pedal should operate freely, without binding between closed throttle and wide open throttle.
  5. Install the closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side or Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
