Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
    2. Fig 2: Knock Sensors & Electrical Connectors

  2. Disconnect the knock sensor (KS) electrical connector (2).
  3. Remove the KS bolt.
  4. Remove the KS (1).
