Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.
If any of the following components are replaced, a CKP Variation Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn , for the 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L or 6.2L and Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn for the 6.0L Hybrid.
- Engine replacement
- Any engine repair that disturbs the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor or its relationship with the crankshaft reluctor wheel
- CKP sensor
- If the throttle body is replaced or a throttle body cleaning procedure is completed, the Throttle/Idle Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to the following:
- Throttle/Idle Learn for the 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L or 6.2L
- Throttle/Idle Learn for the 6.0L Hybrid
