July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the following components if fuel tank replacement was necessary:
    1. Fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Fuel Tank

  2. Use a suitable jack and install the fuel tank (1).
    3. Fig 2: Fuel Tank Straps And Bolts

  3. Install the fuel tank straps (2).
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the fuel tank strap bolts (1) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  5. Connect the evaporative emission and fuel pipes (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  6. Connect the fuel tank electrical connector.
  7. Install the two piece propeller shaft. Refer to Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement (LTG, LCV, LKW) .
  8. Install the left rear suspension bracket. Rear Suspension Bracket Replacement (Rear)
  9. Install the left and right side rear air deflectors. Refer to Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement - Left Side , and Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side .
  10. Refill the fuel tank.
  11. Inspect for fuel leaks.
