Removal Procedure

WARNING: Refer to Brake Dust Warning .
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (V-Series) and Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base) .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (October 4th 2015 and Earlier) and Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (October 5th 2015 and Later) .
  3. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector and release the connector clip (1) from the vehicle frame.

  4. Release the wheel speed sensor harness clip (1) from the vehicle frame.

  5. Release the wheel speed sensor harness clips (1) from the upper suspension arm.

  6. Clean the wheel speed sensor mounting area on the steering knuckle of any accumulated dirt and debris.
  7. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt (1).

  8. Remove the wheel speed sensor from the suspension knuckle.
