Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Fuse Block

  1. Install the fuse block (1) to the battery.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Tighten the battery positive fuse block cable nut (1) Tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
  4. IMPORTANT:

    This step is crucial to prevent damage to the fuse block or battery.

  5. Confirm that the 2 starter fuse nuts (1) are correctly torqued to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  7. Install the 4 body harness terminal nuts (1) Tighten to 4.7 N.m (42 lb in).

  9. Install the body front wiring harness fuse block nut (1) Tighten to 17 N.m (12 lb ft).

  11. Install the APM positive cable (2) and APM positive cable nut (1) and Tighten to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
  12. Install the fuse block cover. Refer to Fuse Block Cover Replacement 
  13. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  14. Install the rear compartment floor panel front trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Front Trim Replacement
  15. Enable the high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Enabling
