Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement (LFX)

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. If equipped, reposition the sensor heat shield.
  2. Disconnect the ECT sensor harness connector.

    Tighten 

    20 N.m (15 lb ft)
