Installation Procedure
- Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable (1)» Install
- Front Wheelhouse Panel Brace (2)» Install
- Front Wheelhouse Panel Brace Nut (1)» Install and tighten [4x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
- Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable (3)» Install
- Cable Retainer Nut (1)» Install and tightenNOTE: Critical high voltage fastener. Perform second torque verification check following re-assembly.
- First Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Final Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Protective Terminal Cover (2)» Install
- Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Connector (4)» Connect
- High Voltage Terminal Bolt (1)» Hand tighten [6x]
NOTE: Critical high voltage fastener. Perform second torque verification check following re-assembly.
- High Voltage Terminal Bolt (1)» Tighten [6x]
- First Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Final Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- High Voltage Cable Connector Cover Seal (3)» Install NEW Seal [2x]
NOTE: Make sure the seal does not roll out of channel when installing NEW seal.
- High Voltage Cable Connector Cover (2)» Install [2x]
- High Voltage Cable Connector Cover Bolt (1)» Install and tighten [4x]NOTE: Critical high voltage fastener. Perform second torque verification check following re-assembly.
- First Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Final Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Air Inlet Grille Panel (2)» Install - Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable (4, 5)» Install - Transmission Replacement
- Transmission Support Crossmember» Install - Transmission Support Crossmember Replacement (LTG)
- Electrical Connector (1)» Connect
- Retainer (2)» Engage [2x]
- Cable Retainer Fastener (1)» Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Retainer (2)» Engage
- Lower the vehicle.
- Enable the high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Enabling
