Circuit/System Testing

  1. Clear the DTC, perform the Stop Start Capacitor Control State of Health Reset.
  2. Verify DTC P106E does not set while operating the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC.
    • If the DTC is set 
    1. Replace the K176 Stop/Start Capacitor Control Module
    2. Verify DTC P106E does not set while operating the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC.
      • If the DTC is set, replace the C10 Stop/Start Capacitor.
      • If the DTC is not set, all OK.
    • If the DTC is not set 
  3. All OK.
