Preliminary Procedure

1. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
2. Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
3. Plenum Front Panel Replacement
4. Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Inner) Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Outer) 
5. Vacuum Pump Replacement 

Procedure

1. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor from the thermostat housing.
3. Inspect the seal and replace if necessary.
