Preliminary Procedure Remove the plenum front panel. Refer to Plenum Front Panel Replacement . Remove the outer fuel pump insulator. Refer to Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Inner) Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Outer) . Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
1	Vacuum Pump Fasteners (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Vacuum Pump Procedure Lubricate the vacuum pump seal with clean engine oil. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
3	Vacuum Pump Gasket NOTE: Inspect the gasket and replace if necessary.
