Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

  2. Disengage Battery Distribution Fuse Block Retaining Tab (1)
  3. Open the battery fuse block cover. (2)

  4. Remove Battery Positive Cable Nut (1)
  5. Remove Battery Positive Cable Nut (2)
  6. Remove Battery Positive Cable (4)
  7. Disengage Battery Positive Cable Retainer (3)

  8. Disengage Battery Positive Cable Retainer (1)

  9. Remove Protective Cap (2)
  10. Remove Generator Positive Cable Fastener (1)
  11. Remove Battery Positive Cable (3)
  12. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  14. Remove Starter Solenoid Cable Nut (1)
  15. Remove Battery Positive Cable Conduit Fastener (3)
  16. Remove Battery Positive Cable (2)
  17. Lower the vehicle.
