Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Electrical Connector And Starter

  1. Connect Electrical Connector (1)
  2. Install the starter.(2)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  3. Install Starter Mounting Bolt (1) and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

  4. Install Battery Positive Cable (2)
  5. Install Starter Solenoid Cable Nut (1) and tighten 12.5 N.m (111 lb in)
  6. Install Battery Positive Cable Conduit Fastener (3) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  7. Install Knock Sensor- Bank 2 (1)Knock Sensor Replacement - Bank 2

  8. Install Starter Heat Shield (2)Starter Shield Replacement 
  9. Install Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter- Bank 2 Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (Bank 2, LGX)
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
