Removal Procedure
- Block the drive wheels.
- Disable the parking brake cable adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Disabling
- Place the ignition in the OFF position.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (CTS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (CTS-V) .
Remove the electronic parking brake control module bolts (1).
- Position the electronic parking brake control module to access the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the electronic parking brake control module electrical connector.
Disconnect the parking brake intermediate cable nut (1).
Remove the electronic parking brake control module bracket bolts (1).
- Separate the electronic parking brake control module from the bracket.
Maneuver and remove the electronic parking brake control module (1).
