Installation Procedure
- Install the NEW O-ring seal (2)
- Install the camshaft position sensor (1) into the engine front cover.
- Position the camshaft position sensor bracket and sensor wiring harness (1) in place.
- Connect the oil pump flow control valve connector (1), camshaft position actuator solenoid connector (2), camshaft position sensor connector (3), and the engine wiring harness connector (4).
- Install the camshaft position sensor bracket fasteners (1) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
- Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement (LT4) - Install
- Supercharger Belt Idler Pulley Replacement (Supercharger Belt Tensioner Bracket) , or Supercharger Belt Idler Pulley Replacement (Engine Coolant Manifold - Upper) , or Supercharger Belt Idler Pulley Replacement (Engine Coolant Manifold - Lower) - Install
- Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement - Install
- Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front - Install
