Installation Procedure

Windshield (1) - Install - Adhesive Installation of Windshields

CAUTION:
Align the windshield reveal molding with the bracket locating feature to prevent any damage to the bracket.

NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.

Press down firmly on the windshield reveal molding (1) and ensure the 7 bracket tabs are fully engaged.
Windshield Reveal Molding (1) - Install [2x]
Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces.

Clean the inside of the windshield before installing the front view driver information camera bracket (1).

Front View Camera (1) - Install
Slide the front view camera (1) downward to engage.
Secure the retaining tab.
Connect the electrical connector.
Prior to the installation of the of the windshield outside moisture/ambient light and humidity sensor, clean the windshield surface and sensor bracket with an Isopropanol Alcohol, wipe until the surfaces are thoroughly clean.

Connect the headlamp automatic control ambient light sensor wiring harness connector (2) to the windshield outside moisture/ambient light and humidity sensor (3).
Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light and Humidity Sensor (3) - Install NEW
Connect the headlamp automatic control ambient light sensor wiring harness connector (1) to the headliner wiring harness connector.

NOTE:
Slide the inside rearview mirror onto the mirror mount.

Inside Rearview Mirror (2) - Install

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Inside Rearview Mirror Bolt (1) - Install - Fastener Specifications
Connect all electrical connectors, if equipped.

Clean the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft splines with a soft wire brush before installing the windshield wiper arm (3).
Position the windshield wiper arms (3) on the windshield wiper transmission pivot shafts.
Windshield Wiper Arm Nut - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

If required, realign the windshield wipers to their respective alignment circles (1) on the windshield.
Lubricate the windshield with clean washer fluid.
Run the windshield wipers for two complete cycles then turn off the windshield wipers.
Ensure the windshield wipers are in the full park position.

Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
Perform the camera calibration procedure. Front View Camera - Windshield Learn
