Selector Lever

Permits operator to choose mode of air delivery to vehicle interior. The lever may be positioned at "OFF", "ECONOMY", "LO", AUTO", "HI", "BI-LEVEL" (discharge air from instrument panel registers, defroster nozzles, and floor outlets) and "DEF" (discharge air chiefly from defroster nozzles).

The lever further operates the control head vacuum switch and also operates the defroster door through the control head vacuum switch. The defroster door is partially open in all lever positions and fully open at "DEF".
