Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair


1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Under normal conditions, it is not necessary to discharge system refrigerant during this procedure, as switch unit fitting is supplied with a Schrader valve.
2. Disconnect switch harness connection. Unscrew unit from accumulator.
3. When installing new switch unit, install new oiled O-ring and torque switch to 7.5 ft. lbs. Be careful not to over tighten switch.
4. Reconnect harness and battery cable.
