Fuel Injectors

The fuel injectors are solenoid-operated devices controlled by ECM. The ECM turns on the injectors solenoid which lifts a normally closed ball off its seat. Pressurized fuel is injected in a conical spray pattern into throttle body, just above throttle valve. Fuel which is not used by the injectors passes through pressure regulator before being returned to fuel tank.
