Circuit Opening Relay

  1. Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between terminals "STA" and "E". Check for continuity between terminals "B" and "FC" and no continuity between terminals "B" and "FP". See Fig 1 .
  2. If continuity is okay, apply battery voltage across terminals "STA" and "E". There should be continuity between terminals "B" and "FC". Apply battery voltage between terminals "B" and "FC". There should be continuity between terminals "B" and "FP". If not replace relay.
