IGNITOR & Knock Controller Test
- Unplug ignition coil lead wire at coupler and distributor lead wire at coupler. Connect 12-volt test light to ignition coil coupler (wiring harness side). See Fig 1.
- Set multimeter to ohms range. Connect positive tester lead to Orange wire terminal and negative lead to Pink wire terminal.
- If test light is illuminated, ignitor and knock controller is okay. If not, replace ignitor and knock controller.
