Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Adjustments

1. Place transaxle control shift assembly in the NEUTRAL notch of detent plate.
2. Loosen switch attaching screws.
3. Rotate switch on shifter assembly to align service adjustment hole with carrier tang hole.
a. Insert 2.34 mm (3/32 inch) maximum diameter gauge pin to a depth of 9.0 mm (3/8 inch).
4. Tighten attaching screws. See SPECIFICATIONS/MECHANICAL for torque values.
5. Remove the gauge pin.
