Central Control Module Diagnostics: Notes

NOTE: EBCM can only store up to 3 fault codes at a time.

The Central Control Module (CCM) uses speedometer, odometer and trip monitor in instrument cluster to display diagnostic information. For ABS/ASR system diagnosis, only speedometer and trip monitor displays will be used. Driver Information Center (DIC) buttons are used to command CCM when in diagnostic mode. See DIC DIAGNOSTIC USAGE  table.

The speedometer is used to display fault codes for CCM, Electronic Control Module (ECM) and ABS/ASR system. The trip monitor is used to display module number and test number. The first digit identifies module number. The second digit identifies test number. See Fig 1. For trip monitor number display identification, see TRIP MONITOR DISPLAY table.
