Test Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1993 Buick Roadmaster. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Operating door lock switches will isolate transmitter/receiver problem.
  2. Checks for unlock signal at keyless entry receiver.
  3. Checks for voltage on circuit No. 694. Voltage on circuit No. 694 would prevent driver's door lock motor from locking.
  4. Checks that keyless entry receiver applies voltage to circuit No. 694 when an unlock request is present.
  5. Checks that keyless entry receiver grounds circuit No. 694 to enable a lock request.
  6. Checks for an open in circuits No. 295 or 694 to driver's door lock motor.
