Passive Keyless Entry System

The Passive Keyless Entry (PKE) module sends Universal Theft Deterrent (UTD) arm and disarm messages to the CCM. CCM turns courtesy lights on when sent a UTD disarm message. CCM turns courtesy lights off and momentarily sounds horn when sent a UTD arm message. CCM provides UTD status and key-in-ignition status to PKE. CCM provides programming request signal to PKE when programming request is entered by pressing buttons on Driver Information Center (DIC).
