Clearing DTCS

To clear codes, ground terminal G of Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure . Turn ignition switch to ON position. Press TRIP/ODO (next test) button on DIC until "1.7" displays on trip monitor. Press ENG/MET (next value) button and hold until "--" is displayed on speedometer. CCM DTCs should now be cleared. Turn ignition OFF and back ON to check if DTCs reset. Remove ground from DLC.
