Receiver/Transmitter Will Not Program

  1. Measure voltage between DLC terminal G and ground. If about 6-10 volts is present, program a known good transmitter and test keyless entry system. If keyless entry system is now okay, original transmitter was defective. If receiver does not program using a known good transmitter, replace receiver.
  2. If about 7-9 volts is not present, check for an open, short to voltage, or a short to ground in Black/White wire to DLC. Also check for poor connection to keyless entry receiver. If wire and connection are okay, replace receiver. 3) If about 7-9 volts is present, program a known good transmitter and test keyless entry system. If system now operates normally, original transmitter was defective. If system still does not operate, replace receiver.
