Only Rear Liftgate Release Function Does Not Operate (Dutch Doors)
- Place transmission in Park. Using a known good transmitter, press rear window release switch on instrument panel. If rear liftgate opens, go to next step. If rear liftgate does not open, problem is in rear liftgate, not Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system.
- Disconnect RKE control module connector C2. Connect fused jumper wire between connector terminal "B" (Orange wire) and ground. If rear liftgate opens, go to next step. If rear liftgate does not open, repair open circuit in Orange wire.
- Connect test light between RKE control module connector C2 terminals "H" (Orange/Black wire) and "B" (Orange wire). If test light comes on, replace RKE control module. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Orange/Black wire.
