Cargo Power Door Inoperative Using Transmitter

  1. Disconnect connector C302, located at left front kick panel. Connect test light between ground and connector C302 terminal "A" (Tan wire). Push UNLOCK button on remote transmitter. If test light illuminates, go to step 4). If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect remote control door lock receiver 16-pin connector. Connect self-powered test light between remote control door lock receiver connector terminal "G" (Black/White wire) and connector C302 terminal "A" (Black/White wire). Check for continuity. If test light illuminates, go to step 3). If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Black/White wire between connector C302 and remote control door lock receiver
  3. Disconnect cargo door lock motor connector located inside lower right corner of right rear door. Connect self-powered test light between cargo door lock motor connector terminal "B" (Tan wire) and connector C302 terminal "A" (Tan wire). Close doors. Check for continuity. If test light illuminates, replace remote control door lock receiver. If test light does not illuminate, ensure door contacts are okay. Repair open in Tan wire between connector C302 and rear cargo door lock motor.
  4. Connect test light between battery voltage and connector C302 terminal "B" (Gray wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6).
  5. Disconnect rear cargo door lock motor connector. Connect self-powered test light between cargo door lock motor connector terminal "A" (Gray wire) and connector C302 terminal "B" (Gray wire). Close doors. If test light illuminates, replace cargo door lock motor. If test light does not illuminate, ensure door contacts are okay. Repair open in Tan wire between connector C302 and cargo door lock motor.
  6. Disconnect door lock relay 6-pin connector. Connect self-powered test light between door lock relay connector terminal "E" (Gray wire) and connector C302 terminal "B" (Gray wire). If test light illuminates, replace door lock relay. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Gray wire between connector C302 and splice S260
